Have you ever seen an angel's smile?
It lights up the world,   makes all your pains worth while.
Looking to the sky,   with nothing but questions of why,
The Lord guides us.  We have no reason to cry.

Her Mothers pride and joy.
Her fathers little girl.
Some day will she see?
she's her parents' whole world?
With skin so soft and pink,   it's like that of a rose.
So beautiful, so small,   right down to those tiny little toes.

Have you ever seen an angel's smile?
It lights up the world,   makes all your pains worth while.
Looking to the sky,   with nothing but questions of why,
The Lord guides us.  We have no reason to cry.

You have our hearts wrapped in you.
Just as your curled finger around ours would do.
So hush little angel,   please don't cry.
When you do, mommy and daddy inside could die.
Those small pouty lips, and those eyes of slate grey.
We wonder Mary, what color will they be some day?

Have you ever seen an angel's smile?
It lights up the world,   makes all your pains worth while.
Looking to the sky,   with nothing but questions of why,
The Lord guides us.  We have no reason to cry.

When you grow, who will you be?
a ballerina,
a musician,
or up on the flying trapeze?
One things for sure, will always be true
You are a girft from god.
Made perfect and made strong.
s Our little angel whose smiling all along.
